Are pets allowed?
No. Keener Management does not allow pets of any kind.

Are utilities included?
All utilities are included at the Hamilton House, Sutton Plaza, M Street Towers, the Windermere/Harrowgate, and the Park Crest. All other buildings include gas and water, but electric is paid separately.

Is parking available?
At most of our properties, parking is available.

What are the initial terms of the lease?
All of Keener Management's properties require a minimum 12-month lease, with one-month security deposit. After the initial term is complete, you may renew for another year, or choose to go “month-to-month”. Longer-term leases may also be available.

What do I need to qualify for an apartment?
The income requirement for all of Keener Management's properties is 2 1/2 (two-and-a-half) times the yearly rent. (Example: If the rent is $1000/mo, the yearly rent is $12,000, so the income requirement is $30,000.) Co-signers are permitted if the primary resident does not meet this requirement, although the primary applicant always needs to have good credit to qualify. We will run an on-line credit check when you apply.

Can I show up to see an apartment any time?
It's always best to make an appointment, which should be done over the phone at least 24 hours in advance. Of course, in most cases, shorter notice is acceptable, and we may even be able to take walk-ins. To be safe though, please call ahead.
